Conceived a myriad years ago
Hidden beneath the dry land
Tucked safe in Her arms
Lies a treasure
Unknown and unclaimed...
Encircled by stark darkness
Bearing no glisten
Lies a treasure
Untouched and unswayed...
He tamed and wielded the treasure
And gave it gloss and shine
It scintillates a brilliant spark
To make even the unswerving eyes blind...
Of all man's discoveries
This one stands tall
For it has bewitched
The hearts of all...
I stand today, as a regal owner
Of a priced possession...
Which will stay on to be
